The day starts with a quick team huddle to review the schedule and assign tasks. Today, I’m part of the air conditioning installation crew headed to a residential site in Evansville.
8:30 AM – On-Site Preparation
After gathering the necessary tools and equipment, we arrive at the customer’s home. The first step is to assess the existing setup and prepare the space for the new AC unit installation.
10:00 AM – Installation Begins
With everything prepped, the installation process kicks into high gear. We work diligently to ensure a seamless transition from the old unit to the new one, following industry best practices and adhering to safety protocols.

1:00 PM – Lunch Break
After a productive morning, we take a well-deserved break to refuel and recharge. It’s a chance to swap stories with the team and share a few laughs before diving back into the project.
2:30 PM – Final Touches and Testing
With the installation nearing completion, we meticulously check every component and connection to ensure proper functionality. Once everything is in order, we fire up the new system and conduct thorough testing to verify cool air is flowing smoothly throughout the home.
4:00 PM – Customer Walk-Through
The moment of truth! We walk the homeowners through their new AC system, demonstrating how to operate it efficiently and answering any questions they may have. Their satisfaction is our top priority.
5:00 PM – Wrap-Up and Debrief
With another successful installation under our belts, we clean up the work area, pack up our tools, and head back to the office. On the way, we debrief and discuss any insights or improvements for future projects.
